That deal was Sobey’s acquisition of all of the assets of Canada Safeway for a cash purchase price of $5.8 billion, subject to a working capital adjustment, plus the assumption of certain liabilities.
Glenn Warkentin, Devin Mylrea and Sarah Thomas of Nerland Lindsey LLP provided commercial real estate and other general corporate and commercial legal advice on the purchase and sale of 28 shopping centres located in Alberta acquired by Crombie REIT and Sobeys pursuant to that transaction.
